Are you not afraid of the great power I hold over you?
[Riddle's words are all spoken softly, coaxing Hermes to open up to him. To be truthful about his feelings— not worry about what he could say that would appease him.]
[He shakes his head softly at the question, letting a soft smile settle on his features as he stares up at the boy.]
No.
[He means it too. Meteion would have never feared him, knowing his heart as intimately as she had, whether she wanted to or not...and if he was to be unmade? Then so be it.]
If I am to be unmade by your hand...then I will still be happy for the life you gave me. To have met you regardless.
[Beautiful. The word has his mind beginning to buzz again, wanting to deny the affectionate compliment. He isn't beautiful but maybe, in Riddle's eyes, in this little song and dance they're indulging in he is. He can be. The kisses to his face have his cheeks heating up once more, smile widening with a light laugh.]
...And how happy and lucky am I, that you have created me. That I have the opportunity to please and serve you. Truly, I am blessed.
[Those final words from Riddle have him sucking in a soft breath, those glowing green eyes of his meeting his gaze. It's hard to hear those words, even if it's just pretend. They're impossible to believe. He isn't perfect. No one is, but especially him. He has far too many flaws...but what if he was supposed to be flawed? If it was by design?]
[There's a kiss over his bare skin, hand trailing down and rubbing over a nipple. Riddle hesitates, mind rebelling for a moment, but... so long as Hermes' doesn't mind? He'll quickly relax.]
Now... repeat after me: "I am valuable, and valued."
[He doesn't mind one bit. If anything he seems to be quite fond of the touch, gasping softly.]
I am...valuable and valued.
[It's not as hard to say as he thought it would be. Then again, he remembers, it isn't as if his own friends hadn't said something similar to him before. He just didn't have it in him to believe it.]
[Well, since Hermes likes it... he'll get a small rub in reward for complying.]
Say it again, with all the feeling as if you were saying it to me, but with the same words as before.
[Hermes is so kind that it's easy for him to see the value in others. Maybe this way, he could start feeling a bit more positively towards himself, too.]
[Even if it does feel wrong, it's good for him to focus on it, Riddle things. Combining those words with pleasure... Maybe? He's honestly just making a hypothesis, here.
He peppers kisses over his torso, fingers again rubbing over his nipple.]
[The praise leaves his face feeling more heated than it already was in the first place as he melts further beneath Riddle. How this small boy has more or less left him undone without doing that much has his head spinning. He shouldn't be such a sucker for praise but...he is, admittedly.
At least Riddle seems comfortable in the role he's taken upon himself. That's the point of all of this isn't it? His comfort.]
[Ah...what a loaded demand. With his face cradled in Riddle's grasp he's unsure how to respond. Should he be truthful about how he feels? What kind of answer was the boy expecting anyway? When he does answer his voice is quiet, soft.]
[Ah, he's making things depressing again isn't he? This isn't really something he wants to get into right now...he's already experienced enough whiplash as it is.]
[He lets out a soft exhale at the press of the boy's lips to his own, realizing that, once again, he's let his words ruin the moment. He's never been good at communicating his wants or needs and usually when he did? Well, it ended up just depressing those around him.
Gingerly he kisses him back, a hint of desperation on his lips. He doesn't want Riddle to feel bad just because he's a disaster. That's not something he wants to put on him.]
[He lets out an exhale from his nose, melting once more beneath Riddle as he lets his eyes shut. He'll just focus on the feeling of his lips against his and the weight and warmth of his body. That's all he needs to deal with for now.]

[The question is asked gently, quietly.]
Are you not afraid of the great power I hold over you?

No.

He turns his head for a moment, flustered, before he turns and presses another kiss to the edge of his mouth.]
Good... Then keep on being happy. Because I wouldn't dream of unmaking you.
[And then he peppers light kisses over Hermes' face, along his jaw and down his neck.]
My beautiful Hermes. You don't realize your true value. How much you have to offer to the world...
How lucky I am to have created you.

...And how happy and lucky am I, that you have created me. That I have the opportunity to please and serve you. Truly, I am blessed.

He lets the kisses trail down a little further, over Hermes' collarbone.]
You please and serve me just by existing. By being yourself.
[His hand comes up, a thumb brushing over his lips.]
You are perfect just as you are.
no subject
...I am glad you feel that way.
no subject
Not quite...
[His smile widens a touch.]
The correct answer, my creation, is "I know".
no subject
[His eyes widen a bit at that, expression turning sheepish. At least this mood is better than the anxiety he'd been feeling moments ago.]
...I know.

You are wonderful...
no subject
So are you.
[He draws back up, cupping Hermes' face once more.]
Tell me your deepest desires, my creation.
no subject
...I want to be needed. To be useful.
[To be loved - but he won't say that.]
no subject
In hindsight, Riddle should have expected an answer like that. Hermes wears his heart on his sleeve and is so painfully earnest at times.
His expression softens, and he gives a soft hum, hands coming up to run through his hair.
Gently, he asks:]
What makes you think you aren't already?

[Ah, he's making things depressing again isn't he? This isn't really something he wants to get into right now...he's already experienced enough whiplash as it is.]
I never have been.

Riddle's gaze dims a bit, and he shifts forward, gently placing and holding his lips to Hermes' once more.]

He pulls back gently, smiling.]
Thank you, my creation. You're doing perfectly.
[And he means that. He doesn't need for Hermes to be compliant or cheerful. All he needs is honesty.]
no subject
Thank you...

As reward... I'd like for you to take care of me.
Would you allow me that honor?
