[When he spots Riddle he shoots the boy a wave, realizing once again just how tall he is in comparison to him. He's cute, and the cheeky critter in his arms is beyond adorable.]
Riddle, it's wonderful to see you once more.
[He gives him a small bow of his head.]
And this is your friend in question, I presume? He seems rather lively.
[No really, it is, and it fits the creature too, what with its coloring and all. Carefully cradling it against his chest he looks down at Riddle, ready to pose a question.]
[When Riddle grasps onto his sleeve and tells him he's ready, he nods back to him, channeling his aether to teleport the two of them to the sanctuary. It only takes a moment before they materialize at the front, Clover still cradled safely in Hermes' arms.]
[Riddle opens his eyes, and immediately, he's taken by the sight of the greenery and flora. It's not a reserve by any means, but it's clearly cultivated with love.]
[The words of approval have Hermes smiling as he watches Riddle take in the sight of the sanctuary.]
I did my best to work with what was left to me when I took over ownership, but I think I managed to make the environments for our residents a bit more engaging.

Understood. Thank you so much, Hermes. I'll be there as quick as possible.
[And he's turning off the feed to go to the elevator as asked! Little green friend carefully tucked in his arms.
There's a small chuckle as he nears, and it's clear he's talking to the hedgehog who is, once again, trying to make a break for it.]
You can explore all you want once we get to the sanctuary, but you have to be patient.

You as well, Hermes.
[There's no signs of any discomfort at all between the height differences. He looks to the hedgehog in question.]
Isn't he? I have to say I'm relieved. I'd much rather him be too curious about a new world than afraid of it.
[The hedgehog stops its attempt at escape to sniff up at Hermes. Tol.]
Looks like he's taken an interest in you.

[He laughs at the little creature, reaching out with his hands in a bid to take him from Riddle.]
May I? We have these where I am from, but I have never seen one that's green before.

Back at my college house, I take responsibility for hedgehog tending.
Normally, they aren't this color, but at Heartslabyul, they come in green, blue and pink.

You do? What a wonderful responsibility.
[The little creature sniffs and wriggles a bit but eventually settles in Hermes' hands. Ah. He's in love.]
Do you have a name for him?
no subject
[...or, ah. Have had the opportunity. He doesn't want to think on that too much.
He looks at the little creature for a bit, hand coming up to his chin.
Then, he gives a nod.]
Clover.

[No really, it is, and it fits the creature too, what with its coloring and all. Carefully cradling it against his chest he looks down at Riddle, ready to pose a question.]
Do you wish to walk there or teleport?
no subject
Oh... you can teleport?
[He's used portals, which is basically teleportation, but never via someone's power. He gives a nod.]
That's fine with me. Do you need me to do anything?
no subject
[Thankfully this place hadn't diminished his abilities that drastically.]
If you would hold onto the hem of my sweater or my sleeve, I can transport us both there with ease.

Ready.

Here we are.

Oh... this is wonderful.

I'm not sure what you were left with, but I can say for sure that this environment is very welcoming and hospitable.
[He looks back.]
And perfect for a hedgehog.
